Maybe I'm losing my mind here fellas, but I'm thinking that 303's Fabric Guard would be the correct product to use. 303 Aerospace Protectant is more for vinyl and rubber.

Check this link out:

To summarize:

"NOTE: 303 Aerospace Protectant is not for textiles and should not be used on fabric convertible tops."
