Weight of water absorbed:
The Absorber - 8.4 ounces
Big Blue - 27.80 ounces

"Absorbtion factor"
The Absorber - 1.35x absorbency by weight
Big Blue - 3.61x absorbency by weight

If you do the math - the Big Blue towel absorbed OVER ONE LITER of water!!!

ATTENTION: For those who have a need to absorb one liter of water, please do NOT use the big blue drying towel. It is insufficent to meet your needs.

My methodology was flawed; I assumed that if I took two 500ml bottles of water and weighed them, that I would be able to get a somewhat-close reading on what a liter of water weighed, perhaps my bottles were not full. Who knows.

To anyone who was hurt or erroneously misguided by my attempts to scientifically prove how convenient the BBDT is, I apologize.

Anyone else have a problem with "scientifically" and 25% error in the same sentence?

Keyword: attempt. My apologies for having offended thee with my attempt to satisfy the curiosity of many forum readers. If anyone wishes to duplicate my experiment under more "scientific" conditions, and should you happen to have a conversion table at your fingertips, I shall ship you the materials you need. Except for two 500ml bottles of water, those seemed to have caused a problem last time. LOL!!

when those wear out, try pakshak or sportscarcare.com - they're only $18 vs the $25 that properautocare charges.
