What do I use to get bird crap off the soft top??? I left my car for about an hour to go eat with a friend, when I walked outside to the parking lot, I saw bird crap ALL over my car!!!
I rushed home & washed it off immediately & I thought all of it had came off, but when my soft top dried there was still some white spots on the top. So I scrubs those spots again with soap & water & it still didn't come off
is there anything I can use to get it off with or something to get my top back to black? Thanks!

Meguiar's APC (all purpose cleaner), diluted about 6:1, is something I keep in the garage all the time now. Just today I needed to get some polish splatter out of the grain in the soft top, and that APC along with a small, firm-bristled brush was just the thing.

Pctures tomorrow, hopefully. Haven't applied any LSP to the car yet. I, uh, I kind of hurt myself with the Makita today.
I was working away and the thing grabbed the cord to my iPhone earbuds. They ended up swinging around, and I *think* wrapped themselves around my index finger on my right hand, then snapped under the tension. My fingernail is all purple now and I think it might fall off soon

It could have been a LOT worse though - that swinging earbud could have just as easily gotten me in the eye.

Dang!! Yeah you definitely have to be SUPER careful of any cords near the buffer head. Trust me, Ive grabbed the cord before and it rips it right out of the machine before you know whats happened!
Also be careful with your shirt, if it grabs it your going for a ride!
these machines can be very dangerous and should be handled with care, I think we all take them for granted sometimes...
Better luck next time! I guess you learned the hard way..

I have heard that peanut butter takes bird poop off of the soft top. I have never done it though. I havent ever had bird poop on my soft top though. Worth a try. I have just heard from a few people here locally ond on different forums that it works. Good luck.
