Default Blackfire sealant vs. Menzerna Powerlock - same ?

With all of the good reports on Blackfire products I tried their all paint sealant this weekend. For the last two seasons I've put on a few coats of Menzerna Powerlock. My paint was in great condition, after a wash and claybar I used the Blackfire gloss enhancing polish, followed by 2 coats of Blackfire wet diamond all paint sealant 1 day in between coats.

The end result is nice and shiny, the polish seemed to clean things up a bit, my paint had very few swirls and the polish is listed as being non-abrasive, so it just cleaned things up a bit while having some glaze properties.

Is there any chance that the Blackfire Sealant is similar to Menzerna Powerlock ?, I've heard that Menzerna makes products for Blackfire. The overall shine looks similar between the two products. I did find that Menzerna leaves a very slick feel on the surface, a bit slicker than the Blackfire sealant - comparing the feel as you run your hand over the surface.

I am happy with the results of the Blackfire sealant but it looks very similar to the results I got wiht the Menzerna Powerlock. Maybe if I was using the Blackfire after a different product the difference may have been more dramatic, but using it after Powerlock has a very similar appearance. Has anyone else tried both products , what were your results ?.

Havent tried anything other than Blackfire for a sealant. I am pleased but HATE how it cakes into the pads, seems like I waste a lot when I clean the pads at the end of the day,
Is the Menzerna similar??

My current detail after polish is Chemical Guys Black Light, Blackfire, followed by Dodo Juice Supernatural

Thanks for the reply. I didn't notice the Menzerna caking into the pads so much.

I contemplated putting a top coat of wax, I might consider doing that too.

From everything I've read, Powerlock and Wet Diamond are nearly identical products. Personally I haven't used powerlock as I've got enough Blackfire to last me a few more seasons.

Yeah I am starting to think so too. I really like the look of Blackfire so I look forward to continued use, I'll see how it compares in terms of durability compared to Powerlock since I've run that in the past THanks for the reply
