BUFFER SWIRLS...
ok two things. the wool pad I used says specifically on the back that it is a finishing pad. does this mean the pad wasn't the culprit and just my inibility to use the machine?
HMMM, Ardex stuff huh? I have never used there stuff, and I live not too far from them.
I have used high rpm's with my PC and some poorboy's ssr to remove scratches on my parents huge-@$$ truck, without holograms.
Maybe it is the technique, and the products/pads?
Not sure but I do agree with some of the advice given on here.
I use LC pads myself.

I think i found my problem...the buffer was on 2200rpms(granted i wasnt going full speed b/c that is crazy fast, but i was feathering the trigger manually) so that is probably what went wrong. It did fine with the foam pad, but i guess not the wool even though it was a finishing wool pad. Ill try going back over it with a lower speed and a foam pad to try and get the swirls back out.
just to clarify, i am going to try and fix the problem. What should i use to be sure i do it right? the foam pad that didnt give me problems or the finishing wool pad and also what rpm should i use? do i need to use the compound again or can i just use wax/polish to get it back to normal?
Thanks again!
