Any decent soap you would use on your S is fine for the top, no need for a special cleaner. Use a soft bristle brush and the soap to gently clean the top. Towel dry and apply a vinyl protectant, either RaggTop or 303 protectant and you are all set.

Vinylex is another protectant that works well, and may be a little easier to find. In the states, just about every auto parts store carries it.

I'm not familiar with the BMW product referenced in your link.

I would suggest ordering from Phil @ Detailers Domain (www.detailersdomain.com). He carries the RaggTop vinyl cleaner and protectant kit.

If he doesn't ship to Panama, I would be happy to forward on a shipment. I'm sure we could barter for the cost. PM me if interested.

I use the 303 vinyl cleaner, then follow up with 303 protectant once a month. 303 is good shit.

Dan makes a good point. If you a near a marina or marine (boat) store, you might be able to get 303 cleaner & 303 protectant (2 different products) locally in Panama.

I used 303 for years, with excellent results.
