Default Clear coat scratches?

I have a quick question about little white looking scratches after a little unexpected hails rain as i got off work tonight. I have an 08 Berlina Black and i was wondering if those little white looking marks about the size of some of these letters are just on the CLEAR coat or deeper? It look like to me that it's just on the clear coat since the hails are very small and didn't seem to produce any dint on my car as i dry it off after i got home. Any input is appreciate thanks...

post some pics if you can I'm sure that give everyone reading this a better idea of what you have to work with. But from the sounds of it probably some finger compounding and machine polishing would do the trick

agree that we need pics...

if no dents and you cant feel the edges of these spots with your fingernails, you should be able to fix them- just depends on what they are.

again pics should help us- if you can get some normal and some close ups

without pics my first step would be to wash the car...

then i would clay that area to remove any surface debris. my guess is that might be the cure. if not, then a light polish would be next.
finish up with a good wax or synthetic to protect
