Default crazy question

anyone know if a synthetic sealant (klasse aio, menzerna fmj) would bond to a snowboard base? it might even last longer than a wax would

FYI, snowboard's base is porous, so it tends to absorb what is applied to it. That is how the wax bonds to it ( and is also super hard to clean out).

Use this info as you will, not sure if it will help!
