Default Debris on my windshield

Hey guys. Ever since I got my s I've had some sort of debris on my windshield that I can't get off. It looks like a bunch of dust but when I go to wipe it off nothing happens. For that reason, I'm not sure if its on the outside or inside of the windshield. It's not a big problem on a day to day basis but it starts to get annoying when it's raining at night as the specks tend to refract headlight light front other cars. Any clue what this might be and how I can get it off?

They're little fine stone chips, only way around it is to repalce the windshield.

if it is truly surface deposits take a claybar to the windshield and give it a good clay.

These windshields get some bad road rash on them though so it could be tiny chips. I'm on my second windshield and I replaced my original one due to excessive rash, on a sunny day it was really noticeable.
