if you are tracking the car, prob so...
but for the rest of us, the heat generated by the brakes is pretty well confined to the rotors and brake components. i hope no one is waxing their rotors!!!
i think that the wheel heat is primarily from tire friction... so my guess is that your point is well taken for long road trips.
worst case is the carnuba does disapate, and you would be left with the synthetic (good question as to what their melting point is, and whether the wheels would ever get there!)
still i think its better to do as much as you can instead of doing nothing. for most of us the protection will be there for a normal protection time frame.
in any case, the carnuaba is likely gone in a month or so, leaving the synthetic to protect alone.
i think that carnuba does a better job of being slippery (so most dust does not settle) than synthetics.
