I too use Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner to clean my engine. I dilute it to 4:1 for this purpose. Meguiar's also offers a dedicated product Engine Cleaner that you should be able to find locally.

I use CD-2 as my engine dressing, but as noted above, it's been discontinued. Possible substitutes include Stoner Trim Dressing, Pig Spit, Adam's In & Out Spray, Griot's Engine Bay Dressing, and Meguiar's HyperDressing.
