I washed the car for the first time last week. It was rather painless despite the near freezing weather. I noticed that the exhaust tips have a tint to them which was not there when new. Any suggestions for keeping them looking new?

 

Try stainless steel polish? I actually use a polish I received when I bought a Tanabe exhaust fro mmy old 97 Prelude!

What, stainless polish? Yes, any auto parts store should have it. You might wasnt to even try chrome polish.

Try 'Never Dull'....I think that's what it's called. I hear it's perfect for exhaust tips.

Try using GS-27.. very good on steel.. takes away the rust and stuff. : )

 

WARNING
As several others and I have found out - The exhaust tips have a very sharp edge and can slice a finger pretty well.
