Default GLUE FROM EMBLEMS

My 2K came with one side emblem (S 2000), which isn't really a problem as I removed it okay. Will be replacing both sides with Rick's S emblems. Problem now is that the glue under the S2000 emblem was really thick and I can't seem to find anything that will take it off. Anyone removed emblems and had a major glue residue to contend with? Could really use some help here.

Goo Gone should get it off if you haven't already tried that, then wash the area where the badge was

3M Adhesive Remover should do the trick.

WD-40 will do wonders. Im not sure what it will do with the adhesive, but I used it to get A LOT of tar off a vehicle this weekend. It pretty much just melted the tar of the car. I was very suprised!

i used a heat gun to get the badge off, then an eraser to get the glue off. After that we buffed the fender.
