Thumbs up How to apply Raggtop Vinyl Protector ?

Do you guys spray Raggtop Vinyl PROTECTOR on your top after you washed your top and it still wet or you u do it when the top is dry. The instruction on the bottle only said apply to your top but make no mention if it should be wet or dry. Thanks guys for the info.

I always do it dry or at least mostly dry. A few swipes with a waffle weave towel is all it takes to dry the top.

To apply a protectant to my top I usually spray the stuff on a towel or applicator and then run that over the top. If you spray it directly on the top you are likely to get the protectant all over the paint, windows, etc. Oh, and I apply it when the top is dry.

Also, I would wait until the top is dry to apply the protectant. I think otherwise you risk 1) not getting a proper bond between the protectant and the top and 2) the dilution of the protectant during application.
