Default Help removing scratches from headlights

Does anyone have any tips on removing tiny surface scratches from the headlights?

Would it be ok to use 3M scratch remover, or will I cause more harm than good?

I really want to get rid of these scratches. Looks ok in the daylight, but at night with the headlights on, the scratches make my headlights look really dirty!

Thanks in advance.

Or try Meguiar's #10 and #17. The one labeled cleaner is more aggressive. The polish finishes the job. Like Plexus, they're intended for plastics.

I tried using #10 and #17, but it didn't really help much. Do I need to use more elbow grease, more applications or both?

I f your scratches are that bad you may need something more aggressive.

"000000 Ultra Sand Sanding Sheets" is what they use to restore old taillights for showcars.

Do a google search for "Micro-mesh" products. They have what you need.

Thank you peeps for all your suggestions. Especially you RedY2KS2k! You inspired me to give the headlights another work over with #10 and #17. After 3 applications, the scratches have been reduced significantly!!

Thanks guys!
