Tony,

It would be very interesting to know if anyone's actually done a study on whether a ragtop fares worse with a lightning bolt than a hardtop. Remember, you've got rails beneath the vinyl in your S2000, and they would probably conduct around you.

Of course, that says nothing about what'll happen if the top is down (i.e., my earlier suggestion) Frankly, on that score, I really don't wanna know!

I DO check the weather but its only to decide if I'm going to hand wash or go to the self-wash and gently wash off the day's grime and brake grind.

Our car is so small, its always a pleasure to wash it by hand so as to be able to spot any "trouble" areas and using a top quality wash always brings out the sparkles of the pearl under the yellow.
