I know the topic of 'how to clean my soft top' has been beaten to death. However, I can't seem to find any info/suggestions on how to clean the inside of the soft top?

I don't use the plastic teanu (sp?) cover becuase it is do damn irritating to put on and take off.

Tried cleaning it with a rag and some water but it didn't do much. Also noticed that the inside of the top seems to feel different than the outside of the top.

any suggestions?

Sponge with soap/water or your favorite vinyl ragtop cleaner (I have the 303 type) then I finish with a rag (sprayed away from the car) with 303.

 

I use the brush attachment on my vaccuum. Seems to do the trick for me and I don't ever use the toneau either with the top down for 98% of my driving.
