Ubetit, you are exactly right, clean the carpet first and clean the leather with the rogith products as well, but if the odor persists then this product works great.

I went for a drive the other day, and the smell is still there, plus the spicy smell from the kidsnpets brand stuff. I think I just got used to the smell. Asking a friend, he immediately noticed the smell. I think I'm going to rub it in the carpet once more, and will have to remove the seat. I tried before but the bolts are impossible to budge.

After that I'll have to get the carpet professionally shampooed. This is proving more difficult than I imagined...
this happaned to me about 6 months ago. I thought it would never go away. I just used regular leather cleaner on the seats everyday for about a week. I set the car out in the sun with top down and leaned the mats proffesionally. I also drove around with dryer sheet in my car for about 1 week after I got it all cleaned. The smell will eventually work its way out. Just hang in there and keep cleaning everyday. It sucks trying to get stuff out of the little holes in the seats. i used a very fine toothpick and wen hole to hole.

Hey my little brother, sorry to hear that. Get it professionally cleaned and it will take several times to get all the smell out. Find a detail shop, which offers lifetime guarantee, so you don

Not all pet odor removers are created equal. Nature's miracle is the BEST stuff out there.

I had my Integra puked in and professionally cleaned New Years 95. They injected some enzymes into the seat cushions apparently to break down any smelly bits that seeped in.

Bass, I agree with your statement. I only said "professional" because even though I have a bunch of equipment and 100's of products in my cabinet, I do not own a hot water extractor. Usually only those that are in detailing as a business consider it necessary or affordable.

The other option I have not seen mentioned is to have the interior treated with Ozone. There are several places near me that will take your car for the afternoon, close all the windows and doors and use a machine that pumps ozone gas into the interior. Ozone is 100% lethal to all living things (even the nasties that create the puke smell). The gas leaves the interior of you car devoid of all living things! No smell, no chance of it coming back, and probably smells better than before the puke incident! Shop around and see if anyone in your area will do that for you. The results would be great if they were to clean it with a hot water extractor first, then use the Ozone. Hope this helps.

ozone is illegal for personal use here in the states (inject into bloodstream), but theoretically sounds feasible, as ozone causes ozonolosis to break apart molecules...

car still smells just a bit, need to go over it once again with the kidsnpets brand cleaner, then shampoo it, then I think the smell will be gone!
