man u guys got me so nervous now lol most products that i find in autozone dont really say much except either metal or aluminum polish. So far i tried mothers aluminum n metal polish , turtle polish w/rust removal, and another mother spray , sit, n wipe bottle. None working...so maybe polishes arent my answer? or im still in the wrong direction
IF the alum polish isnt looking gray or black on the rag it's probably clear coated.

^^ it is looking picking up black n gray to even make the rag really dirty but like i said before, stains are still there, hmmm now looking at them more they look like the previous owner did use a wrong treatment to them that is why these stains are not so easily removable. My friend did the same mistake to one of his wheels awhile back but im not sure how he got them fixxed if he ever did. I think these volks are beyond simple over the counter products =\

Bump, any luck? I'm an idiot and did the same damage using an abrasive cleaner on my Volk GTS.

Try some never-dull. use a microfiber towel to wipe it off. Almost looks like light scratches/water spots.

update, well since non of the appropriate cleaners/polishes worked on my rims i had a friend look at it that new a thing or two about wheel cleaning and he told me that its deep in the clear coat. hence the only way to get them like new is to remove the clear coat , clean, and reapply clear coat. so time for new rims haha anyone want to buy these for cheap and fix em? =]
