how long should you wait for the first coat of wax when the car is brand spanking new??

i've heard that you should wait for the paint to air out or something.. and also that you should get the first coat on there asap.

Not with the majority of today's cars. You should polish/wax it as soon as possible. By the time the car is rolled off the factory and delivered to the states, enough time has elapsed for the paint ot 'cure'.

Hi
There is no need to wait. Also, you may want to check your paperwork to see if your car was sealed by the dealership. They would have charged you for it. If not, it would be a good idea to take your car to a detailer and have it sealed. Sealant protects your paint for up to a year and you can wax over it if you wish.

Enjoy,

Hello Barry,
I would definitely advise against buying it from the dealership since they charge way to much and you don't know if it was done professionally or by some salesman. I will not try to convince you of anything. I can see the proven benefit on my own car. You can do your own DD
