Default How Often Do You All Protect Your Soft Top?

I was wondering how often you guys protect (use raggtopp protectant). The bottle sas about 3-5 weeks.

However, I was wondering if it would be better to apply more often, since my S is a DD without a garage and living in the southern heat

Sorry If this has been discussed before, I searched and didnt find a specific answer.

good question-
anytime my top is washed it gets treated... you will wash off some of the protection.

yes, definitely apply whenever you can if the car is an outdoors car without a car cover.

hey, why no car cover? !!

(car cover nut here- mine is at home under a cover in the garage behind my wifes motorcycle which is under a cover !!)

I would like a car cover, but I use the car so frequently that it would be extremely tideous.

Thanks, I think I will apply protectant every other week.

When you say frequently do you mean driving a lot of places in one day ? Mine is a daily driver so at work its covered all day. In the summer it not only protects against those rays but keeps the inside much cooler

I have the OEM dust cover so it won't help in rain hence i dont use it during crappy weather but here in Arizona where its mostly sunny the cover works wonderfully
