Default Need help after badge removal

Just removed the front and rear hood badges on my '02 S2K. The front was a bitch to get off. Anyway, I noticed what looks like residue and what appears to be an indentation(looks like a straight scratch but has no depth to it) where the bottom of the original badge was. Used adhesive remover 3x and still the same. Waxed it per directions and still looks like a smudged area. Should I let a pro handle it or is there any product suggestions to try first , perhaps compound? Thanks

I used a product called Goo Gone when I did mine. Bought it at Auto Zone. Took everything off fairly easy with only one application. Any residue that was left, which wasnt much at all, was covered by the Ricks badge though. I am sure I could have gotten it all off with one more application. It was hot that day too if it makes a difference

3M Adhesive and Wax Remover

Says on the label- "WON'T HARM MOST CURED AUTOMOTIVE PAINTS"

I used it when debadging with good results.

Thanks, guys. The 3m is what I tried 3x with. Haven't tried the goo gone. Did try some wax, then Zymol wax and the Zymol seemed to take some of it out, if that means anything(or is it just covering it up).
