Thumbs down Need HELP my trunk is rusting...

hi i have just purchased a 2002 S2000 and after i washed my car today i pop the trunk too clean i found out that there is some water droping down inside the trunk. So i take a look whats going on and found out that unside down the Trunk is rusting and water is droping. Anyone have this problem before? What can i Do? Any advise?

I've heard of a few people that have had this problem. You must be careful when loading and unloading your trunk, if you damage the weather seal you'll cause the problem you're describing.

My suggestion is to check the weather seal to make sure it is in good condition and replace if necessary. Also, check the alignment of the deck like with the trunk is closed, if something happened to the car, the previous owner backed into something or the car was rear-ended, prior to you taking ownership it's possible that the trunk is not sealing like it should.
