Question never waxed/detailed a car- help!!

i never paid anybody to do this either... (that isn't my car by the way)

anyway, i just purchased my car on Saturday (GPW) and i have a little problem. there's this black tape i pulled off around the windshield (in picture)

and urethane glue decided to come along with it and is now stuck to the yellow circle in the picture. GOO GONE managed to get it out but now i have random spots because it splashed everywhere... how to remove?

get it professionally rotary buffed?

I won't be one till next night, but I'm sure others will have suggestions if you provide a bit more info.

Is the adhesive residue on the glass, paint, trim, or soft-top?

At this time, without knowing where the adhesive is, I won't suggest anything.

Good luck!

on the paint... it's the pillar thing for the windshield. i got windshield urethane on it. & everything i use that GOO GONE stuff, it removes it but it also spreads it LoL.

can you give us some close up pics?

acetone is likely to get it, but that wouldnt be my first choice- its a bit harsh...
wd-40 is an easy first try since you prob have it and it is likely to help.
try it in a small area first and if it works, go for it. if it doesnt help let us know-
but again, some pics would help
