Default New Paint

Ok, so most of my car has been repainted due to an unfortuante accident, but she's all better now. Anyhow the car's been sitting in my garage for over a month now. The Autobody shop said I could wax it after a month, but since it's not moving might as well let it wait three months. Yes, I plan on doing this, but what should my fist step be? Just a coat or two of wax (P21's)? Anything else?

how bout synthetic before the wax??? that would be my vote

if the body shop says its ready to go, then it should be...
they know when the new paint is "gassed out"- once it is, no problem protecting it.
