Default Is it okay to put the top down

Hi. I just put 303 aerospace protectant on my roof and want to put the top down tonight. I hesitate because, no matter how thoroughly I buffed, the top still seems a little moist with 303.

Is it okay to put the top down immediately after a 303 session or should I wait?

I think you would be fine! you might have a smudge or two you can just wipe or your glass may get some residue on but, if it is safe for the top I would think it is safe for all of the other materials it may come in contact with !

on the topic of taking care of the top. How do you clean the top prior to applying 303? Soap and water ok?

I can't see how any harm could be done, but I've always been in the habit of keeping the top up for a day after treating it. I just don't like to lower the top if it's wet, moist, damp, etc.

yes, you can wash the top with car shampoo...
and i always buff it out twice with two clean rags and put it down immediately.
no worries!!

where i live it never rains...
and where you live is where i am right now, and it is incredibly beautiful-
and no rain here either!!

but i do agree that you need to do a good removal job to avoid getting 303 on the paint- which is why i buff mine twice!

I do not usually drop the top if moist as you will get some creases in the hood they will come out but I don't like the look personally
