Paint defect? Pic

Thumbs up Paint defect? Pic

k well i have this nasty thing wrong with my paint AND i just found out (hopefully) how to post up a pic from my comp so yeah. anyone have any ideas on how to remove this? think a quick polish should do the job??

is that oxidized paint? or something sitting on top... I'm sure one of the gurus will chime in, but doesn't look like an easy fix if it's oxidized (repaint?).

The minor scratches near the bottom of the picture should be mostly fixable via PC.

Yeah, not a great picture. Is it bubbled or are those marks depressions or is it some sort of stain?

i cant feel any level difference at all. its the same level. clayed over it and everything its smooth.

I have the same thing going on with the b-pillar on my explorer. My vehicle is greenish, but the b-pillar is black. For years I lived without a garage so it was out in the sun a lot, now it has little cracks all over in that small area much like yours. I was told by a local painter that I would have to sand it down and repaint it.

Could be clear coat failure, but it's really hard to see anything from that picture. Can you take some more?
