Rain Rain Go Away!
Hey guys ive been wondering how some of you put the S back in the garage when it rains...... I was guessing along the lines of drying off and quick detailing? Would appreciate any feedback thanks.
donno - doesnt rain here (usually).
the few times it did get rained on, i just put it away wet and then the next weekend detailed it.
be careful with quick detailers when the car has been rained on- you will notice lotsa grime (sand type) near the bottom of the car. a quick detailer can cause scratches if you are not careful. rinsing is the best way to cure- rinse and then wash.
i have dried it when it gets a light mist- best to hit it with a detailers spray first if you can. i do remember driving to the office and hitting mist- wiped it off when i got to the office- i carry several micro fibers and a small big blue.

If I've been driving in the rain or dirty and got rained on I put it away wet and wait till I can give it a proper bath. If the car was clean and just wet from sitting in the rain then I'll wipe off the water and use quick detailer to freshen it up.
