I did the whole removal step last week to put on the CR black emblems. front and back were easy to remove with floss, with the side, PIA. Floss kept ripping so i gave up and just tore them off with my fingers. Use Goo be gone to remove the adhesive. My nails were an 1/8 of an inch so i was able to get in there, by the time i got them all of, nails were all jacked up.

I did this a few days ago... as everyone else has said, use a hair dryer to heat up the side emblems for 1-2 minutes, and use dental floss or string (string takes off more glue and doesn't break easily) in a sawing motion to remove the emblems. Then I used about 3/4 a bottle of goo gone and a rag to clean off the remaining adhesive. Getting the badges off is easy, but getting the adhesive off is a PITA and takes a lot of patience.

btw, the most important advice is in ricks site- applies to those who are putting new badges on

tape off (masking tape) where the old badges were so you know where the new ones go...

i have had several pms from guys who didnt do this and couldnt figure out why they couldnt get the new ones on straight!!
