Have have an 05 AP2 and recently discovered there is a small tear (very small) on my soft top. It never leaked during raining days. However, when I pressed my finger from the inside (looking at the top from out outside) I noticed it would stretched into a bigger tear. After I let go of it, it would then slide back into the original small tear. I know eventually my top would wear more and would lead to water leaks.

My question is, can I use the black silicone sealing from Home Depot to cover over the small tear from the inside? Or is therre any other method?
