Sonus SFX Pro Applicator
I am thinking of getting some Sonus SFX Pro Applicator pads and I was wondering how many pads I need per car? I know one side is good for application of cutting compounds and the other is for waxes and polishes.
So if I am going to do:
2 stages of cutting compound
1 polish
1 wax
how many pads would I need?
On a similar note, how many microfibers should I have on hand to remove all the products?
Also, would I be better off doing any of those steps with a microfiber foam applicator instead?

have you ever polished by hand before? especially if you are doing a heavy job... the only time i might consider polishing by hand would be a bike- cause its such a small paint surface. last time i tried to do a hand polish (was just a top surface only) i swore i would never do that again!
its hours of rubbing- your hand and arm will hurt like heck.
if i can talk you into using a machine, you will be much happier!!
how many mfs you need depends on the size of the car and the number of procedures.
hey, besides all of my negativity above- if you decide to try this, be sure to post up your thoughts! ... you might disagree!

First, the number of MF cloths...I would be doing my S2000 and it would be for the steps in my initial post. Or maybe just, how many cloths to do 1 pass over an S2000.
To your main point. I would LOVE to get a PC, but two things how me back. First, they are a little expensive. And two, my facilities are limited right now. I don't have access to power when I wash my car, so a PC wouldn't do me much good. When I have my own house and garage I will get a PC, but until then I am stuck working by hand.
Your thoughts on my situation would be appreciated.
Tired arms...maybe you guys are just getting old
