Spider in my Dashboard!

Ive had a spider hang down in front of me while driving on some back roads....
I didn't know what to do.. I stopped, threw my hazards on and ran outa the car..
and just like you i didn't know what to kill it with! I used my wallet and cellphone and smashed it in between them.. how do they get in!!
