Surprised no one else said anything but...

Why the hell are you cleaning your motor with it running!?
you clean it with the engine running because you do have to spray water onto it. If the engine running and you hear something funny, you can stop right away even though water in the things of today's engine bays won't hurt it THAT badly. You also want it warm because the heat helps loosen up grime

to the OP, those pictures look great! May i suggest some P21S TAW for next time though. Let it soak and it gives you a nice gloss on everything too!

WOOHHOO!! Well, almost. There are still some areas I am not happy with, but at least its almost clean. Certain areas will need parts removing and a higher concentrate of APC, but overall, its a pretty good result. Also wouldn't mind repainting the valve cover, but we will see.

Here they are, as of today Do I get a badge?

hey where you get that red intake hose??? i like it

Thanks

Got it from Greg, forum supplier (Can't remember which one, gt motoring I think.)

Had it shipped by him to the UAE, was cheaper than the local distributor!

Its a samco hose so a quick google should show you the nearest supplier to you. I think its TB2029 code IIRC.

I am now going to do a lot of the other hoses the same.
