Vented CF hood
Recently got a vented CF hood.....
Now it's winter, so I put a piece of card board under the vented area to keep the snow or water out...
But in summer, I kinda want the vented area to be useful, I have the K&N intake,
and the filter sits right under the vented area (that's why I have to put a card board there now for winter)
Should I just put a piece of car board there everytime I wanna wash my car???
Thanks

I washed my car about 3-4 times ever since.........
I opened my hood and checked the card board last night....still looking good !!
Not peeling or anything....maybe because I don't spray directly into the vent???

wouldnt your engine kinda burn off the card board? i have to agree with the guy that said tape it off.
I would think having the cardboard in your engine bay would be a serious fire hazard.
