just received some p21s wax, my question is can i apply with my PC or does it need to be applied by hand? Also if i apply by hand should i go "back and forth" to insure no other swirl marks are made?

doug-
yes, you can apply with the pc... somewhere i have a "tips" on machine app, but will try again here:
use a rubber glove and knock the wax outta the can into your gloved hand. rub the wax on your pad (no cut pad)- and apply... as the air flows over the car in straight lines. you dont need speed here (no 5 apps please!).
this is a perfect method if you have an assistant. as soon as you finish one area the assistant can buff. dont let it sit.
if you have two pcs, use a mf bonnet over lambswool pad for the removal.
i like the machine cause it lays down an even coat and you can control the amount (you want thin, not thick).
do two coats- and let the first one cure at least a coupla hours. more cure time is better.
and yes, if by hand do not go "circular"- straight lines again...
or if you wana go really "by hand"- take off that glove, and rub your fingers in the p21s to warm it then rub some in your hand... rub it into your paint- slowly/ feel the paint and get to know your car really well !! (not kidding, its an unusual experience- but prob only for wacko wacko wacko wackos- like me)
and while you are at it, post up some pics if you can- you know that i love pics!!!

btw, machine waxing is one of the best ways for a newbe (not aimed at you) to get "machine feel" before learning to polish. in fact, thats how i got my machine feel - back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth !!!
