Default Waterspots

I was out of the country for a few weeks and my car sat at my parents house. Upon returning, I washed the car and found waterspots all over the hood and trunk. I tried detailers spray and cleaner wax with no luck. I am considering trying the vinegar method from here. Any advice or thoughts before I try this tomorrow??

Any help is appreciated.

If the vinegar doesn't do it, you'll likely need to polish them out

Yeah, I was afraid of that. You think Zaino-PC will get them out?

z- pc would not be my first choice... but i would be interested to see if it works- if you have it and the vinegar doesnt get it, you could try it on one spot...
report back!!

my first reaction was that z-pc has been reported to be a really light weight swirl remover- however, after thinking about this a bit that might just be the perfect product- i always prefer the least aggressive polish for a job. again, only if the vinegar does not work.

Thanks wanabe, you contribute greatly to this community and I was hoping you would reply. I will give the vinegar a shot then move to the PC this afternoon if the former does not work. I will report back this evening.

I got watersports on my black 05 from the sprinklers at the hotel on a trip. Washing it didn't work so I tried the vinegar bath and that worked perfect.

I'd try F21 wax, I had almost the same problem and F21 wax did it. But if it doesn't try vinegar and water.

any paint cleanser that removes oxidation will do the trick ..

z-pc, aio, wg smr , ssr1 etc etc..

and smell a lot better than vinegar
