Default Waxmasters--Safe?

Are Waxmaster buffers safe? I have one that I received as a Father's Day gift and want to get some opinions. I realize it is not state-of-the-art like the P/C but does anyone use them?

Thanks,

Vipersdad

sure as it's a Random Orbital Polisher - i don't see how it will cause any problems

Depending on which one, It won't work as a swirl removal tool, which is the only reason to really use a buffer.

Thanks. I haven't had to do any swirl removal but I have used it to apply a one-step wax and to buff on my '04 full-size pick-up that stays outside.
