diabolus- Im looking at that Optimum, and I cant imagine it would work better than a paste wax. How well does it really hold up?

It actually lasts quite a while... I had it in my car for a couple months and it was still beading strong before I removed it. Run a search on autopia.org and you'll see some pretty positive reviews that I can vouch for myself

Also, how long do you all let the synthetics and carnaubas cure for?

-Matt
It depends. FMJ requires you to wait at least 24 hours before applying another coat. Opti-seal only requires a couple hours. I think that's the exception rather than the rule, though. Most waxes I've used have a 24 hour curing time

I'm a fan of Wolfgang with some Polycharger added in. I've done sealant/wax layering, but the results for me at least aren't worth the time to put the wax on the next day.

my car after a coat of polycharged wolfgang

This is my dads car before/after.. I clayed, polished with my PC buffer and blue edge 2000 pad using Pinnacle xmt360, and finished it with polycharged wolfgang using the white edge2000 pad.
