I have yet to find anything that outlasts the durability of Zaino; and that is important during the winters we have in Indiana and all the salt and snow and crud that gets dispersed.

Buy some Z2pro and some ZFX. ZFX is mixed with Z2pro and that allows you to put 3 layers on your car in 24 hours; you can actually put on a layer every 30-60 mins, depending on weather conditions.

Without ZFX, you can only put on 1 coat every 24 hours, and durability wont be as good.

I also use their Z6 QD and whatever their car wash is.

That being said, my car is a DD, at least 10 miles a day, rain or shine, and garaged; and I have had a coat of Zaino sealant last well over a year easily.
how are you gauging how long it lasts? i do the same method with 3 coats and z-6 spray. when it gets dirty i kinda just spray it with water (and soap it if im not lazy) and just use some meguirs quick detail. looks as good as new. but i cant really tell when i need to reapply the zaino.

zanio, is just too much work. And just too confusing. Mix that with this wait for this amount of time before wiping down, this and that..
i mean detailing is already labor intensive and to sit there trying to figure out what to use first and with what, is just too ridiculous.

besides, i think there are alot of other products out there that do as good as job as zanio that also is alot less time consuming.

I use to think the same thing. its actually quite easy.

All you need is Z-2, ZFX Flash Cure Accelerator Additive. mix it in the amounts shown, and apply. wipe it off how you would normally wipe off wax.

finish it off with their Z-6 gloss enhancer if you want more shine. by the time youre done with all this, you can go ahead and start with the 2nd layer ect ect.

I didnt bother waiting since i was using the flash cure accelerator. seems to work just fine for me and does last very long.

On my 2000 Toyota Tacoma (white), I started with a typical Dawn wash and clay bar treatment. Then exactly what gtg749m and GPWhiteS2kFTW described. It's easy: Z2 + the accelerant - 3 coats. Follow with Z6 and use Z6 for occasional touchup. I cannot believe how long this stuff lasts!! A year out and it's still on tight.

I agree, the Zaino website would confound Rube Goldberg.

Can't wait to hit my SB S2K.

Wow, lots of good information in this section. I have been detailing cars (as a business) for about 5 years now. I have been using Zaino for 4 of those years. To me, Zaino is the best product you will find. Not only is there wax technology superior, all of their other products are too. I use all the products that they offer, with the exception of one or two. Their leather care, is pure genius. The softener gets deep into the leather, and makes it much softer than normal. The next step protects it, and gives it the new leather smell.

On cars that have very bad swirls, I use their ZPC (Zaino paint cleaner), and I have not found anything that will match that product. It does what it says it does, as to where other brands do not. Their tire shine doesn't sling, as well, but lasts a long time. Zaino isn't complicated once you have been doing it for a while. Z-5 is a wax made for cars that have mild swirls, and mild scratches. It helps take these out, while being a wax at the same time. Z-2 is a high gloss application, in which should be applied either over Z-5 (if the cars has swirls) or by itself if it doesn't have any.

Here is a link to my Detailing thread in the Alabama section. Click on the links to see pictures of my work using Zaino. The MR2 was a miracle detail, it hadn't been washed or waxed since it was new. I'm not kidding haha. It was done with clay, ZPC, and Z-2. Turned out looking like a completely different car. The Endeavor shows how well the Z-2 works, looking like a bush is growing in the quarter panel. The Bel-air and Mustang also show the quality of the wax.

The numbers are indeed goofy, but once you get used to them, you will know what the numbers mean

Z2pro + ZFX is wax of choice for me
Z7 for car wash. (unless I'm using foam gun, then I throw in some Meguiars gold class since the foam gun runs through soap like there is no tomorrow )
Z6 for detail .. that's pretty much the only things I use ...
