Default zymol

i was browsing my local pepboys the other day and saw zymol wax. it says it takes out light swirls and what not and uses all natural wax. has anyone had any experience with this? is it good and does it provide a good gloss to paint? i still have a bottle of black magic liquid wax. i dont really notice anything significant with it besides the water beeds off pretty nice.

on white, it'll be fine. There's not too much product out there I've found that makes white "pop"

I know a lot of guys that stick with the "old school" of waxes ie Turtle Wax and their cars look great. Different strokes for different folks

I can say, that there will be differences in long term durability, bonding to the paint, appearances under different lighting, washing, further layers, direct sun, direct cold.. etc..

so you see, different factors and there's many more, will affect your paint product process.

I can assure you that it will be "fill in" or temporarily hide swirls and not remove them. Swirl removal is a completely diff process

Yes, I once used the Zymol wax that you can get locally and wasn't too pleased with it. If you're coming out of Black Magic Wax though it's probably a slight step up or at least on par with the Black Magic.

I believe the Zymol you can buy in Pep Boys does not have abrasives. So, it won't remove swirls. It likely has fillers in it to hide them. Once the fillers wear away then you'll see the swirls again.

that's good. as long as it doesn't make the paint or clear coat worse. im all for it.

I think you misunderstand what I'm saying. That's not good . . . it's bad. If you want to remove the swirls you'll need something abrasive. If you choose to just hide them instead you'll likely be seeing them again after just a few days.
