It shouldn't really make a difference on the car. If you're going to go through that expense anyways, I would just get aftermarket cams AND sprockets on a 2.2 L, get a computer (AEMS?) and dial in the power to be at that range. I'm sure the stock 2.2 L hardware can handle the extra 1000rpm, I highly doubt Honda would go with cheaper stuff. Throw in the 4.56 gears and you'll have a very quick roadster.
