I hate hearing these stories. Its why I always try to avoid those long wait purchases. Good luck.
yup me too, I avoid them if at all possible, it seems like long wait purchases are where some vendors run into problems.
x3..........

Hope everything works out any you get your money back.......

Sorry you're having such issues. I've done a lot of business with Greg over the years and while it takes a little for him to get back sometimes he always does his best to make things right for me.

I had the same experience with GT Motoring. Waited almost 5mos for Recaro SPGs that were suppose to be delivered in a month. I will never deal with them or buy any of their products.

How so? I don't doubt that people have had bad experiences but if you're going to say they literally stole money from you, you should probably back that up with what happened.

I hope things aren't going downhill there. I've ordered 3 or 4 Recaros from them without any issues. In fact most have shown up within a week. Ordered a few other smaller items as well and still didn't have any issues.

This customer has been refunded in full after some major screw ups on our part with the order. Some errors by myself, and others errors by former staff that has been let go. We credited him $250 to offer the wheels to him at COST at this point plus we would cover shipping and Re-Placed the order with SSR 1 month ago ( not 2 as the customer notes ) A full refund was also offered at this point or whatever could be done to help as the errors were on our side here. The customer at this point said he wanted roughly $500 additionally or so ( don't remember the exact amount) back or he would tarnish our name etc. It was expressed to him this was basically blackmail at that point and said sorry we cant do that, and the $250 refund or to cancel / refund the order was all that we could offer.

The order was resent and we later asked SSR for payment by company check since we were giving the customer the wheels at cost and didn't want to get hit with their vender card processing fees in addition. We didn't get replies promptly, and honestly should have followed up more on our end. Customer called this past Friday while i was out off the office and asked for a refund. Austin here did everything in his power to help the customer as well as get him a full refund and proof of refund to the customer within 2-3 hours of the first phone call.

Admittedly we made some mistakes with this order and already have new people in place to help things get better and better to where are customers are hopefully always satisfied, or we feel we have always done our best.

Not true. The order was replaced with SSR on 9-11-2012. That was over two months ago. I never said I wanted 500, I said I wanted a full refund plus ten percent for sitting on my money for five months. You came back with the counter offer of a refund or to re submit the order with a ten percent($250) discount. I went with the re order and refunded discount. At that point you didnt even pay for my wheels to SSR. You sat on my money for another two months. I didnt find out about it until I called SSR and they said that your credit account was denied and the order was not placed yet. You could have avoided all of this by just doing your job. I did nothing wrong but choose you as a vendor. Ridiculous.
