Issues with TrackForged.
If there is one thing I'd like to say to Forged, it's that this is a business. Customers are always right. If the product does not work for the particular customer that paid for it, then there is no use. Take it back, make adjustments, save it, and sell it to another customer where it will hopefully work.
I know there's a lot of hard work put into the product, but that's part of the business and you have to deal with it, being a bigger company. It's like dining at a restaurant, if you will, and being forced to eat something you don't like. And this is like taking the plate back to the kitchen and not doing anything about it.

There obviously must be something wrong with the manifold if he spent his hard earned money and time to get it and is returning it with documents stating that he had issues with it from the get go. Now 75% is a very reasonable offer, idk what was said between the both of you behind close doors but i would like to see forged re-offer the 75% refund just for piece of mind that we all know you guys as a company are trying to make things right.
p.s.
p.s.
Offering the 75% refund initially seems like a very fair attempt to resolve the issue, if the statement about the OP ordering a custom manifold for a different turbo is true.
Re-offering 75% now would be a reasonable way to resolve it, if the OP accepts.
However, another solution is to just refund 100% and then sell the manifold here. Somebody will buy it at close to the original price, and Forged will build a positive reputation among the S2000 community for handling this sort of situation. Other people might also consider ordering one. Win-win-win.
This is actually an opportunity for Forged to advertise the custom work that they can do. There is no such thing as bad publicity; I'll bet several people are now curious to see the manifold and might want to buy it. Post pics already!

I would also like to see pics of the manifold. The OP said that the piece just looked to be poor quality so pictures by itself would be helpful but pictures showing the fitment on the OP's car would be better. I know I'm reaching but I feel like it would help forged's case if they tossed the manifold back on their test vehicle snapped some pictures to show there were no fitment problems when built. Pictures of any of the above would help clear up the "he said she said" part of this thread.
It seems like Forged was willing to fix the fitment issues by shaving the 2mm and help the op with correcting the problem. When the customer changed his mind and just wanted a refund a 25% restocking fee is normal just about everywhere and I feel more than generous for a custom piece that was made for him.
Either way I don't think that Forged see's what a great opportunity that this is for them. They can take an upset customer work with them and show the community why we should do business with them. No need to get upset about a negative public forum post. Turn it into a positive.

I never got offered a refund. I'm more than willing to work with forged, but they will not answer my phone calls or email messages. As posted above, i'm more than happy to take 75% of the refund, delete my post and drop my credit card dispute. I just want this settled so we can both move on. Forged had received their manifold back since 8/04/2011. http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/p....x=0&track.y=0
Ok Forged......there ya have it.
The original poster says he is happy to take the 75% refund offer that you mentioned in one of your above listed posts.
What do ya say....?
Heres your opportunity to make good and end the debate.....
