A little lesson in business here. All companies come across these issues and they should think of it as cheap advertising. Sure they take a hit but if they handle it properly, are magnanimous and work on the basis that the customer is always right (even when they are patently not. Not saying this is the case but sometimes it is) they give the impression that they are a fair and professional company and a pleasure to deal with. Much business ensues.

This does not appear to be the case in this instance. It appear Forged have managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Forged got the money and kept the manifold, only at the expense of future business from anyone who reads this thread. Congratulations.

I don't know what is true on either side.

But from what I do know, it does seem to reflect quite poorly on Forged and that is that they posted a carefully worded rebuttal laying 100% of the blame (IMO) on the OP and then asked for the thread to be locked so they could essentially have the final word. Trying to stifle discussion on a public forum is never a good look for a company.

So they are basically trying to steal $750 of my money. You guys stole from me, at least give me back my money. I gave you guys over $750, mailed you guys your manifold back, and you still won't do anything to resolve my issue. $750 is a small price to pay for me if it would help everyone else know how you deal with your clients. Your motor mount and different turbo accusations hold no water, since I have receipts, and factual evidence to back up my claim. This is a public forum, and people should be able to know how some companies work. That is part of living in a free country. If you can't make your customers happy, how do you expect to get a good word out? I'm not slandering your name, but just stating my experience.

Exactly what 'factual evidence' do you have? You've been asked repeatedly to post pictures of the ill-fitting product, yet you haven't. You have only posted a picture of a statement by a 'Vince'--how do we know in fact that 'Vince' wrote that?

Wow......what a Bull$hit response from Forged Performance......!

So to the original poster........

If I were you, I would take this David Huang fellow up on his threat of a lawsuit, infact you should look forward to the first letter from his attorney to which you should promptly reply (in writing by certified mail) that Forged has taken both your money as well as your product which is not legal to do.

Credit card consumer protection protects against "not receiving a product or service that was paid for"..........since Forged has both your money and the product you are entitled to further legal action, and can elevate the review status with your credit card company by calling their fraud department and re-filing the grievance.

At this point, regardless of who started the matter, or who was originally right or wrong......

Forged Performance is clearly taking advantage of the situation & you by keeping the cash and the product.

Makes me

That's his website, ask him yourself if you don't believe me. http://ctdfab.com/
They accused me of using aftermarket motor mounts, and a different turbo than the manifold was designed for on the bank rebuttal. They verbally told me it would fit a turbo up to a 6262. I'm running a Ultimate Racing Turbo, which is smaller than a 6262. http://www.ultimate-racing.com/Produ...TurboKit.shtml I have a receipt for purchasing this kit. My motor mounts are Innovative motor mounts, and they mount the engine in the stock location. Please read over everything I wrote, because it's obvious your skipping. They said my motor mounts changed the location of the engine, which caused fitment issues. I called Innovate motorsports to verify that it does not. They also said I used a different turbo, which I did not. I can have a written statement from Locash/CTD stating that I have the same turbo, since these guys were the ones working on my vehicle. Do you want me to post Forged rebuttal?
