He's a good dude I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think he's a thief. He did steal $400 from me.

Let's be realistic.

Obviously HTG "Jeff" was a good guy. His reputation from past history has proven that he knows what good customer service is. He was one of the better if not best S2ki vendors.

However, at what point would you say that it is no longer ok to give him the benefit of the doubt. How many days would you be willing to wait for a several hundred dollar order. Some of us need parts to get our s2k running again while others paid good $ for upgrades etc.

Regardless, how long would you have this "give him the benefit of the doubt attitude".

I'd say it's very easy to take that position when you haven't been waiting 60 plus days on an order with ZERO communication.

It is dumb-founding how horrible his customer service is these days. Yes i'm dragging him through the mud, and he deserves it. Unless he wants to man up and do the right thing. Send me a refund without me filing a dispute. Or call me and let me know why it's taking 60+ days to fill my order and when I can realistically expect to see it ship.

I'm disgusted with HTG.

It's kind of funny that the S2k'ers are so grateful when they receive satisfactory or better customer service. Shouldn't we expect great customer service? We are the ones spending the $$$. I swear it's like rolling the dice with some of these vendors, hoping you receive your order in a somewhat reasonable timeframe, receive the correct item, or receive the item at all.

Hope I'm wrong but I'm getting the feeling something physical may be involved here.

Well, an update to my post. I finally did receive my order. Calling wasn't working. I finally got a response back after I sent a pretty rude email. The order was on the way the next day.

His excuse was that for some reason, he never saw my order get processed.

Well now I am really starting to believe that HTGs business is being run by a second party that doesn't have the acquired expertise that HTG had. If this is the case, perhaps timelyness will improve as effeciency improves. Still an explaination would be greatly appreciated.
