Some movement on my order.....

I dropped Gary G an email yesterday (thanks for the info Swang) and today have had an auto generated notification from HTG saying my order is 'COMPLETE'

Before it was 'PROCESSED' so I guess this is a good move?!

Fingers crossed anyway
very cool.
kinda sad that were excited about a "complete" status haha...

im guessing this gary g guy is running HTG as a side thing or something...
seems jeff is mia, because i honestly think if he got all this good credit
and put so much effort into s2ki to make a good reputation, that he would
not throw it away by doing business like this.

anyone with order problems try talking to gary g, info is posted above ^^

Well, another member and myself had our hardtops shipped from "DCH Honda" in Camarillo. I wonder if a bunch of different dealers are doing the HTG sales now.

Wow !!!! I hope Jeff is Alright, something obviously has happened. I have had many dealings with Jeff and every time his Customer Service was Top Notch.

It doesn't look like Jeff is running HTG (He either sold or lost the HTG domain), hope everything works out well for everyone involved.

When he's doing shit right, all the older s2ki members jump in and vouch him left and right.

Then this shit happens, and those members are no where to be found. This is why I never trust vouches online.

There's no excuse for this kind of delay in your business. If you can't handle it and can't afford to keep up with the orders, shut the business down.

You want people to continue vouching?? I'm not sure I understand what your expectation is from "older members" regarding this.

Personally, I'm just as lost as you are. Having dealt with him a number of times with no problem and having met him many times over the years I wouldn't have expected to read this thread today.

I've dealt with Jeff at hardtopguy several times over the years. But I've stayed out of this thread until now.

My experiences dealing with hardtopguy.com were satisfactory. What would you have me add to this thread, so that I'm not "no where to be found?" What are people whose dealings in the past were satisfactory supposed to do? There's enough smoke in this thread that I have to believe that there's some fire in there, but I can't add anything. So I've been "no where to be found" because that's the only appropriate response under the circumstances.

Read back over this thread. Each time someone posted about poor service from HTG, a bunch of people would chime in and say things like "Just be patient, HTG will come through in the end".

I'm glad I didnt wait any more than the 2 months I did as I would have been outside the paypal dispute window.

There is no doubt people have had many good experiences in the past. Just keep in mind that posting your " HTG is a god" comments doesnt really help people who collectively have many thousands of dollars of orders in limbo.

If you feel strongly enough about supporting Jeff, then feel free to underwrite the orders people are currently trying to track down, I'd love a pro HTG supporter to step in and refund the money I lost on my transaction. Otherwise, the pro HTG comments dont really help and just aggravate the issue.
