Had an oral agreement on the parts I wanted and the price that he quoted me...so I made a 4 hr trip to meet with him and the day that we were suppose to meet I get a phone call saying that he sold them to someone else. I sent a PM the whole nine yards had cash and was goin to pick them up as stated in his thread b/c the prices were cheap...WTF douche

 

Hybrid Racing (off of eBay)

Yes I know I know it's off of eBay (I normally don't buy off of eBay but this is different), but I thought other people might purchase from him so I wanted to warn you all.

I purchased a JDM trunk emblem from the shop in September over eBay (BNIB, authentic), and still haven't received it. It's only like a $40 part, but still it's a PITA. He has jerked me around for months saying that he has to file a claim with Canada Post (he lives in Canada) and that it takes Canada Post weeks to even initiate the paperwork to refund the money for a lost item (told me this in October).

I talked to Canada Post on Friday, and they have never heard anything from they shop/person, and said they normally refund the money within a week. I have seen other feedback posts for him saying that people have not received their items, or that he has sold them brand new JDM parts that he didn't have in yet (then stalled them for months until the parts came in instead of telling them he didn't have them in stock), but for me (and maybe for many other people) I didn't have enough time to file the unreceived item complaint because he jerked me around for so long.

Beware.

 

I was gonna order a J's oil and rad cap from them off ebay.... Not anymore.

 

It's your money...not mine....but I just don't understand why people continue to purchase these things from Ebay people when we have quality part shops like Bulletproof Automotive, King Motorsports, Evasive Motorsports, AJ Racing and GoTuning.

 

Exact same item, cheaper price. The seller had great feedback, so I trusted him. EBay needs to allow more time for unreceived item complaints, particularly with international orders (which can often take months due to customs).

hey guys, I've been having trouble with 911GT2, I bought his Varis GT fenders from him on dec 8th, took him till the 18th to ship them through grey hound(so he told me)
now I've been very patiant with him about everything but i'm tired of being the nice guy, here are the im's that were sent back and forth
now you'll see something about another member on there that i was dealing with at that time but he's taken care of it so we have no beef.

if he takes care of this, i have no beef with him either, just want my fenders or my money back, you guys feel i'm in the right here?

him:Yes it is I bought it off from Windchasers2k and he bought it off from bulletproof (you can call and ask Ben the owner he know Windchasers2k (Philex) personally) the fender is been painted
so you can really see the logo but the CF cover have the logo on it. and as far as I know there no one make the replica of varis fender.

me:i've seen a knock off on the forum but i'm going to trust you, not gonna call people, just kinda sucks that a respected member on here sold me a knock off bumper for 1250....
but he's worried about his rep on here so i gave him two days to resolve this.....sorry i just had to ask you to ease my mind....thanks and sorry again

if you're still not at home, call grey hound and give them your info and they can give you your tracking number,
i just did it with a package i sent with them, if i don't hear anything from you, i can only assume the worst....
