Anyone ever deal with medicalstudent? I am about to purchase something from him and just wanted to be reassured that I will actually recieve my items

EDIT: Well, nevermind on that one, I was the first on the list to purchase the items and he sold them from underneath me, why bother pm'ing back and forth and wasting my time.

I guess I myself, am a bad guy. I sold Nhan a J's reacing half bumper which I paid pretty close to $700 for. I told him for $400 it was his. I have never sold or shipped ANYTHING prior to S2KI.

I did not realize how much shipping was going to be. I sold my OEM lip and tried to send it in the OEM box through USPS and they said it was gooing to cost $117 dollars due to the dimensions of the box. I instead took it to UPS who only charged me $75.

Knowing now that I had put my foot in my mouth, I realized that Nhans half bumper would cost even more to ship correctly. I promptly PM'ed him and told him the situation and that I needed money for shipping and left him my phone number to call me.

When he called he could not believe that shipping could cost that much. I told him it cost me $75 to ship just a lip, all I asked was for $100 for shipping (knowing it would be more than even that, but figured i'll take the loss on the rest).

He then began to insist to me that he had shipped a lip through USPS and prority at that, for $50.

At this point, with him questioning my integrity, thinking I was out to screw him over or something, i'm just going to paypal his money back to him, with the 3%, and call it a day.

I am a man who values and respects his name. No one knows me well enough to question my ethic. I have done nothing but try and hook people up and go out of my damn way to make sure all my customers are happy and receive what they want, I will not be SLANDERED by Nhan who was willing to pay more than $500 for the bumper from another member not too long prior to me getting it, without the shipping.

You crossed that sacred line with me Bud. i don't care if this causes me to get banned. My credibility speaks volumes from the other members who know me and who have purchased items from me.

I made a damn mistake, and apologized for it. I never lost contact with you Nhan and was more than polite with you till you questioned my intentions.

Sorry for the novel, but frustration is an understatement. I'm shaking this shit bothers me so much. Nhan, you'll have EVERY DIME back in your account tonight.

I was just wondering cuz most of us will never want our names show up in such a thread.

Anyhow he is a very well known member, feel comfortable to deal with him.

Anyone deal with flyguyvan? He was SUPPOSED to sell me a Mastergrade carbon trunk. I sent him payment shortly after we sealed the deal. So I wait. And wait. And wait. I contact him after about 3 weeks to see if he sent out the trunk. He says that he sent it out and it was sent back (wich is BS because he never sent me a tracking# so that leads me to belive that he never sent it). He says that he will refund 100% of my money. That was about 2 months ago and I got nothing, and hes got my money and a trunk. I call him and he just hangs up on me.

EVERYONE, STAY AWAY FROM FLYGUYVAN. He is out of Cali somewhere. Unless he ships me a carbon trunk or my money, then this post will stay.

Once again, stay away from flyguyvan. Hes a theif.

Hmmm....surprising I read this.

I had to give BNB a "point" back and vouch for in the "good guy sellers" thread because of this post. After I posted there, I went back to read others' commments in that thread; it seems as if BNB was mentioned quite often in that thread.

This leads me to believe to not believe the content in the post on the "bad guy sellers" thread. Sorry, just my opinion.

Hi guys,
Its disappointing to see so many "bad guys" within the s2000 community. I'm currently dealing with a seller who has been nothing short of incompetent. He has had my money for about 3 months and I have yet to close the deal. The bulk of the items purchased took roughly a month and a half to ship from the time he recieved the money. This required multiple angry phonecalls, and threats to accomplish, and weeks of frustration. Once the items were recieved I came the realization that a few parts were missing, and damage was sustained during shipping as a result of poor packing. The seller was then contacted about the problems, and I was promissed the rest of the missing parts, and possibly some compensation from the shipping company. Fast forward a couple of weeks later, and that brings me to my present situation. I haven't been in recent contact with the seller despite my efforts, and am still short on parts.

I was hoping to get advise on what to do from here. Is there any kind of legal action that can be taken? What is the next step? Any advice and/or experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time,

Matt
