I bought a wind deflector from him on april 10th and paypaled him right away. It is now may 30th and I have not received the part nor did he reply any of the 5 e-mails and pm's I have sent him over the last 6 weeks. not cool

edit: he wrote me back with an explanation and an apology and the item will be shipped tomorrow. great guy to come out and fix the situation 6 weeks later

First time posting, long time lurker.

I purchased a set of "mint condition" CE28N's from MC21. First off, he sent them over two weeks after I sent him payment via Paypal. They arrived extremely poorly packaged, with simple cardboard cut into circles protecting the rims, nothing else. Also, the decals and valve stems that were supposed to be included were not.

Upon inspecting the tires, I found a huge 2" nail imbedded into one. This is on top of the rims themselves that are permanently stained with brake dust. He had also advertised the tires having %80 thread remaining; they are already showing their wear bars. They will have to be replaced ASAP. There is absolutely NO way I would advertise these as mint condition, he was obviously trying to get more than they were worth when advertising.

I contacted him immediately upon recieving the wheels + tires via PM. When I didn't get a response after a few days, I contacted him through the e-mail provided through Paypal. I still didn't get a response after 5 days upon that e-mail, so I finally decided to open a dispute with Paypal.

Upon opening a dispute with Paypal, he literally answered me the next day. He had posted at least 3 times on s2ki after I sent him the initial PM, so I knew he had read it already. This simply confirmed my thinking that he was trying to avoid me.

In his reply he stated "he was not a store", and that he couldn't give me a refund or any kind of compensation. I told him that was fine, and to send me the decals and valve stems that were originally promised. That was over two weeks ago. I have sent him numerous e-mails since then, with no response.

I don't want to create trouble for anyone, but MC21 is a serious flake, you guys should really stay away. I have all of our e-mails and PMs along with their dates, and pictures of wheels+tires right after I got them. I will post them if he ever wants to come on defending himself.

This is one of the few places I could go to rant, thanks if you actually read the whole thing .

Is there anyway we can at least see this guy banned? I am sure a similiar case will arise if he is allowed to remain on the site...

ChefJ is a BAD guy! Said he sent it, but still have not received anything, ignored my PMs and requests for tracking number. Total scammer!

 

blkblks2k - He made an offer on wheels I have for sale, I accepted. Then the excuses came as to why he couldn't pay.

Sold me a Veilside Titanium Teardrop without mentioning that there were cracks in the welds. I asked him beforehand if there was anything wrong with it and he said no, just decided to get a different exhaust.

Never returned my PM.

Anyone know where I can get a few welds done in the Chicago area? No one welds titanium.
