Um... again only half truth...
1) we were both late from traffic and only because you had changed the meeting time.
2) it was very dark, and I could barely see the parts in a dark parking lot at night. I took your word that they were good.
3) Tony Fuchs says that the parts were in worse shape than the set that came out of my 60K mile car. I don't know how you could have messed up these parts so quickly if you're telling the truth about them being under 10k miles of use, but the point is that they're no good... PERIOD. I ended up buying a new disc, and reusing my old pressure plate because even at 60k miles it was in better condition than yours.
You still maintain that these parts are in good working order. A very qualified S2000 mechanic says they are not. Yes I bought them used so I guess I'm the stupid sucker who trusted you. Legally I'm an idiot and you owe me nothing, but stop telling people that these parts are good... they're TOAST!
I just want everyone else around here to know what your "word" is worth... NOTHING.
If they want to do business with you after you clearly misrepresented parts to me... it's up to them.
For you to claim that I would try to switch bad parts in for the ones you sold me is hysterical. I've been doing business with folks on this board for many years and I can give countless examples of mostly satisfied customers. The few that weren't completely satisfied got full or partial refunds until they were happy. My word and name are worth something to me, and anyone doing business with me on this board knows that I stand behind my word and my products.
They also now know where you stand...
BUYER BEWARE!!!
I'm done now.

he inspect it before he bought it. drewchie said its good, no burns, just normal wear. he said he will take it. so i sold it to him..i didnt force him to buy it...he saw wats his gonna buy first and looked at it before i took his payment. and more than a week after he wants a refund coz sudenly its bad..why not inspect it on day time the next day you got it..and then tell me its bad...and not after a while...
i am not a certified mechanic but i can do mechanic jobs well and i know wat i am doing...i have installed many clutch and flywheel on cars in the past, ive done engine swaps as well on my past cars and my friends cars during my drag racing years...I WILL TRUST MYSELF AND CAPABILITIES 1ST BEFORE I TRUST ANY OTHER MECHANIC. WITH ALL RESPECT TO OTHER MECHANICS LIKE TONY FUCHS, BUT I WILL HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH HIM...sometimes the best mechanic are still entitled to make an incorrect judgement even in the simpliest things.
I KNOW I SOLD A GOOD ONE. its used with some normal wear but still very usable..AND IM SURE IF THAT WILL BE INSTALLED I WILL PROVE MY POINT.
i am not refunding it because i know its good and usable not like wat drewchie said that its bad as per tony fuchs. i sold it cheap as well, $160 for flywheel and clutch kit from an 06 with less than 10k.
anyway, i said wat i wanna say.. so you guys have a nice day and Godbless!
and yea drewchie... we change our meeting place coz u are running late to meet me in glendale galleria and ur coming from santa monica... and coming from san fernando valley..wer suppose to meet at 6pm to 630 in glendale.. i called him at 4:45pm dat day nad ask him dat i will be there at 6pm for sure..and then around 530 to 545pm we talked on the fon and he said he will be late due to trafic.
so i ask him if its better if we meet in LA instead which is closer to him. and i also ask him if he is by 110fwy and he said yes ..so we agreed to meet by staples center..and he said he will meet me by the pantry house about a block away from staples center and he said there is a parking lot right in front of it or across it... if he arrive at 6pm to 630 and not after an hour after dat then it wont be too dark for ur eyes to see, i guess u dont have any excuses anymore, so ur saying you cant see it under saying u cant see it under the lights of my truck.....he chose the spot (dark parking lot)..and he was late BAD. IMAGINE IF I WAITED FOR HIM IN GLENDALE GALERIA, I WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR HIM TWICE AS LONG..
dude you have to admit that u inspect it...before you bought it. YOU SAID ITS GOOD,NO BURNS, JUST NORMAL WEAR...and THEN U gave me the payment...

You handed me a box in a dark parking lot. Yes, I chose the place in trying to accomodate you. You changed the meeting place and time originally, so don't blame me for being late when you give me an hour's notice to be someplace 2 hours away. My mistake was trying to accomodate you. I should have insisted we wait until there was light, but you whined so much about your kids and work scedule that I tried to be a nice guy.
If the parts are good as you insist, then lets take them to a independent mechanic we both can agree on (perhaps a Honda dealer) and ask if they feel the parts are still serviceabble... not perfect, just if they would consider the parts usualble with normal wear for under 10k miles of driving as you keep promising.
Again... I acknowledge that it was my mistake to trust you and that legally you owe me nothing. I'm just trying to warn others that they can't take you at your word.
The fact that you've done some transactions that worked out OK really doesn't mean much. You only find out a man's true character under adversity, and now you're shown what you'll do if the stuff you sell turns out to be bad.
It used to be members on this board could trust one another. We were a family, and family members don't screw one another. This isn't eBay or retail, it's supposed to be a friendly community of people working together. Many of the parts you were selling, I've given away to other board memebers for free, just since I didn't need them and I could help them out.
I certainly don't expect you to give your parts away for nothing, you're entitled to ask for $$... as long as you tell the truth about what you sell.
You sold me bad parts and you claim it's my fault for not inspecting them close enough... correct.
You could have been a good guy and refunded the $$... instead you said "tough!" That's exaclty where the expression "buyer beware" came from.
Since that's how you handled this situation, others should know you'll most likely do the same to them under similar circumstances... that's what this thread is for... to caution other members about people who don't keep their word or stand behind what they sell.
Yep... I'm a real dummy for trusting you. Hopefully others can learn from my mistake.
Count me for also being scammed by txs2knoah.
I was new to this forum (and my S2000), but I had previously dealt with a very ethical goup on FFRCobra.com. So I foolishly bought manuals Noah offered for sale -- without first checking him out. Paid him $100 via Paypal on August 9th. No manuals. No refund. No Noah. Finally, I filed a complaint with Paypal. Received an excuse/lie. Still no manuals. No refund. No Noah. Still waiting. . . .
I should have know from his juvenile grammar. . . .

wheter u admit it or not..u inspect it and open the box before u pay me. we even chat about track days that u guys held.
i dont know if u just forget or what but u realy said after u checked the parts that it is good.
i keep on insisting that my parts are good coz they are...this not about the money..for me this about prooving that my parts are good and i am not out there to scam anyone for a little $$.
anyway, money isnt a problem so il give it back to u if thats what u want..i insist that my parts are very good...and suggest you still use it coz its good...
ill give u ur money and u keep my parts...
thats how good my parts is. and i am not a scammer for money..and its only $160..i will not scam this amount of money for my reputation.
I am a Registered nurse in Ca, i work in he ER and i make decent amount of money. i have passion for the s2000 like most of us here in the forum.. i sold my used parts because they are no use for me anymore, but the are still good and its taking so much space in my garage.
i will give u ur money just send me an email (for paypal) or mailing adress or watever...call me if u want..send me a pm..
i will stand by my word that those parts are good and will be good to use...
its a win win for u..u got the money and my parts.
hope ur happy now.
have a nice day.
below are the parts that i sold to drewchie
If the part is so good why don't you take it back and sell it to someone else?
I'm sorry but it is clear from this thread that you don't want to take the part back because you know you will have trouble selling it. To argue that he is stuck with it because the part is good just does not make sense
Drew has been an important member of this community and this website for a long time; questioning his credibility is just not going to work.
